VIDEO: What has been agreed with Putin in Mongolia instead of his arrest
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh have begun narrow-format negotiations at the State Palace in the center of Ulaanbaatar. It is known that the meeting traditionally takes place in the Mongolian president's nomadic yurt, located on the fifth floor of the main state buildings, TASS reports.
The interior of the room corresponds to ancient Mongolian traditions, adorned with wooden carvings, gold, silver, and semi-precious stones. Particularly notable in the honored northern part of the yurt is a pedestal bearing the likeness of Genghis Khan.
The Russian and Mongolian delegations are conducting expanded-format negotiations at the State Palace in Ulaanbaatar, presided over by the leaders of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
According to Telegram channels, Mongolian authorities have reached an agreement with Russia to supply “cheap gas” and petroleum products at discounted rates. Among other things, the parties have agreed on the development of the reconstruction project for the GEC-3 in Ulaanbaatar.
