Simonyan Announces Payment for Relocation and Accommodation of Border Residents

The chief editor of the RT television channel and the "Rossiya Segodnya" media group, Margarita Simonyan, has announced that she will assist residents of border settlements with their relocation. She made this declaration on her Telegram channel.

"I would like to remind all residents of the border areas who wish to relocate for some time, until we can deter the beasts, that I and Tigran will pay for their relocation and accommodation," stated Simonyan.

Hundreds of volunteers are currently assisting residents of the Kursk border regions. Sixty subjects of the country have sent essential supplies, and more than twenty have accepted residents from at-risk areas at temporary accommodation points.

During the day, 60 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to the region. In total, throughout this period, 3,500 tons of humanitarian cargo have been delivered.

It should be reminded that on August 6, at 5:30 AM, a group of about a thousand personnel from the Ukrainian armed forces launched an assault with the aim of capturing territories in the Kursk region. The advance of the Ukrainian armed forces deep into Russian territory has been halted. The head of the Russian Armed Forces' General Staff noted that the operation in the Kursk region will conclude when the enemy is defeated and the Russian troops exit the Russian state border.
