Conflict Could Escalate to Nuclear Warfare, Turkey's Foreign Minister Warns

The conflict in Ukraine could escalate into a war involving the use of nuclear weapons. This warning was issued by Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.

“Unfortunately, for the third year, the war between Russia and Ukraine continues in the heart of Europe. It carries the risk of turning into a war involving the use of nuclear weapons,” he stated.

Fidan emphasized that Turkey advocates for an immediate cessation of hostilities and the initiation of negotiations for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
