Pakistani Army Reports Elimination of 25 Militants

The Pakistani army has reported the elimination of at least 25 militants during an anti-terrorism operation in the Tirah Valley of the Khyber district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This was announced by the Pakistani Ministry of Defence.

According to their data, starting from August 20, 2024, Pakistani military forces have conducted a series of operations aimed at "clearing the area of extremist presence." The targets were militants from the banned groups 'Fitna Al-Khawarij' and its affiliates, 'Lashkar-e-Islam' and 'Jamaat-ul-Ahrar'.

During the clashes, 25 militants were killed and 11 others were injured.
