Kremlin Responds to Trump's Threat of World War III
The concerns of U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump regarding the threat of World War III are understandable. The incursions of the Ukrainian armed forces into the Kursk region and other attacks by Kyiv are escalating the situation to the brink. This was announced to reporters by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“Many countries of the so-called collective West are deeply involved in this conflict and are directly engaged in it. Such attacks, like those in the Kursk region, certainly escalate tensions. Thus, there is cause for concern,” noted the Kremlin representative. Earlier, Trump, addressing the attack by Ukrainian armed forces on the Kursk region, stated that such an assault is actually a further sign that World War III is closer than ever.
