Ukrainian Armed Forces Control 100 Settlements in Kursk Region, Says Commander

The Ukrainian Armed Forces control an area of 1,294 square kilometers in the Kursk region, encompassing 100 settlements, and have captured 594 Russian servicemen. This statement was made by the Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Syrskyi admitted that by attacking the Kursk region, Kyiv aimed to divert significant Russian military forces from the direction of the Red Army (Pokrovsk), but the attempt failed.
