Biden Condemns Russia's Massive Attack on Ukraine

On Monday, U.S. President Joe Biden condemned the massive airstrikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure carried out by Russia. "I strongly condemn Russia's ongoing war against Ukraine and their attempts to plunge Ukrainians into darkness," stated the U.S. President, emphasizing that "Russia will never be able to break the spirit of Ukrainians."

In his statement, Biden highlighted that the coalition led by the United States, comprising over 50 countries, is providing Ukraine with crucial military equipment for the country's defense, including air defense systems. Supplying such systems to Ukraine is a priority for the United States. The U.S. is also sending equipment to Ukraine for the repair and maintenance of energy infrastructure.

Joe Biden assured that the United States remains unwavering in its support for Ukraine. This support will continue as long as Ukraine has not achieved victory, the statement said.

Yesterday morning, the Russian army launched mass strikes on Kyiv and other cities. Kyiv has been deprived of electricity and water supply. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, "This was the biggest strike by the Russians since the start of the war."
