Collapse in Ddmashen Village: Injured Person's Condition Assessed as Stable but Severe

A wall has collapsed in the yard of a house in Ddmashen village, Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, resulting in an injured individual. This information has been reported by the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs' emergency services.

The alarm about the incident was received on August 27 at 10:06 AM, indicating that the mishap occurred during construction work.

“A fire and rescue team from the regional emergency management department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been dispatched to the scene. It was found that the earthen wall of a nearby barn had partially collapsed (approximately 6 square meters). The injured person, identified as R. A., was taken to a medical center, where doctors have assessed his condition as stable but severe,” the statement said.

Rescue teams have cordoned off the area.
