Ukraine Prepares Response to Today's Massive Russian Shelling - Umierov

Ukraine is preparing a response to today’s massive Russian shelling, which has resulted in civilian casualties and damage. This was announced by Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umierov.

“Tonight, Russia struck our cities again. Innocent people have suffered, homes have been destroyed, and critical infrastructure has been compromised,” he stated.

The minister emphasized that this is further proof of the need for Ukraine to have long-range capabilities and to remove restrictions on strikes against enemy military targets.

“Ukraine is preparing its response; we will use domestically produced weapons,” the defense minister highlighted.
