Terror Attack in Pakistan Leaves 22 Dead
A terrorist attack occurred in the southwest of Pakistan. The country's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reported on the incident that took place in the south of the country.
According to the BBC, attackers killed at least 22 people, forcing them out of their vehicles to check their documents.
The assault took place on a highway in Balochistan province, where security forces are combating violence rooted in religious, ethnic, and separatist tensions.
The militant group 'Baloch Liberation Army' claimed responsibility for the attacks in the Musa Kheli area. A senior local official stated that the number of militants involved was between 30 to 40, and they had stopped 22 vehicles.
Reports indicate that vehicles heading to and from Punjab were searched, and citizens from Punjab were identified and shot.
