We Will Not Allow Georgia to Become Like Ukraine: Kaladze
Georgian citizens do not want their country to experience what is happening in Ukraine, stated Kakhka Kaladze, the Secretary-General of the ruling "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia" party and the Mayor of Tbilisi, during a conversation with journalists.
“Everyone wants peace, who wants bombs to fall and for things to happen like, for example, what is happening in Ukraine? We cannot afford such a 'luxury' and make mistakes due to emotional outbursts and hot-headedness. Future generations will not forgive us. People now understand that calls to join sanctions (against Russia) and to open a second front are dangerous, which is why they support our political force, whose goal is to maintain peace in the country and ensure economic development,” said the Mayor of Georgia.
