Roads Leading to Akhtala, Shamlugh, Karkop, and Mets Ayrium Closed

A road in the RA territory is closed. This was reported by the Rescue Service.

Due to the construction works of the new (temporary) bridge in Akhtala, the road leading to Akhtala, Shamlugh, Karkop, Mets Ayrium, Pokr Ayrium, Chochkan, and Bendik settlements will be closed from August 19 at 08:00 until August 23 at 08:00.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
