Dog in the U.S. Chews Wedding Ring and Swallows Diamond

In the U.S., an Australian shepherd dog swallowed the diamond from a wedding ring, as reported by People.

It is noted that the bride left the jewelry on the dresser, and the dog chewed on the ring, pulling out the diamond and swallowing it.

Days later, the groom found the diamond during walks with the dog. It is mentioned that the woman insured the precious stone and later took it to a jeweler who re-set it on the ring.
