General-Lieutenant's Son Found with Droppers, Drug-Like Substances, and Suspicious Items in Crashed Car

On August 22, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 16:55, a 38-year-old resident of Yerevan, Georgi Apriamov, crashed his Hyundai Sonata into a parked Opel vehicle on Shoproni Street, near house number 77.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver reported that he had felt unwell, which led to the collision with the Opel. He was taken to the Erebuni Medical Center, but he refused medical assistance. Subsequently, the police took him back to the accident site.

At the scene, law enforcement discovered droppers, substances resembling drugs, and other suspicious items in his vehicle. He was then taken to the Nor Nork police station, where information was relayed to the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan city investigative department for the Avan and Nor Nork administrative regions, where a criminal case was initiated.

By the investigator's order, the vehicle was transferred to the specially guarded area of the Nor Nork police station. According to G. Shamshyan, G. Apriamov's father holds the rank of general-lieutenant and has occupied high-ranking positions within the Armenian Ministry of Defense, including serving as the first deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia.
