Russian Air Defense Shoots Down 45 Ukrainian Drones Overnight

Russian air defense forces destroyed 45 Ukrainian drones overnight, with 11 of them shot down in the Moscow region. This information comes from a report by RIA Novosti citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“During the night, during an attempted terrorist attack on objects within the territory of the Russian Federation using drones by the Kyiv regime, 45 aircraft-type drones were eliminated by air defense forces,” the statement said.

It was reported that 11 of the drones were shot down in the Moscow region, another 23 in Bryansk, 6 in Belgorod, 3 in Kaluga, and 2 in Kursk.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin had earlier reported an attempted attack on the Russian capital by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, noting that by 04:43, 10 drones had already been destroyed in the Moscow sky. He described this as one of the most massive attempts to attack Moscow with drones.
