Musk Announces Readiness to Work in US Government

American engineer and entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced his readiness to work in the US government. Earlier, Western media reported that Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, would offer Musk a position in his administration if he wins the elections, possibly as an advisor.

"I am ready to serve," Musk wrote on his page on the social media platform X. The entrepreneur also shared a photo showing him standing behind a podium labeled 'Department of Government Efficiency.' This fictional department's abbreviation in English sounds like 'DOGE,' referencing the popular internet meme featuring a smiling dog.

Previously, Musk had interviewed former President Donald Trump on the 'Spaces' platform of X, and in July, he expressed support for Trump in the presidential race on his social media page. The presidential elections in the US are set to take place on November 5. The official candidate for the Republican Party is Donald Trump. From the Democratic Party, the current Vice President Kamala Harris will participate in the competition if her candidacy is officially confirmed at the party's convention in Chicago.
