Weather Changes Expected Starting Today

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, dry weather is expected on August 19 and on the 21st-22nd. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in certain regions after noon on August 20 and 23. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

The wind will be northwestern at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts of wind expected to reach 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. In the evening hours, in Armavir, and the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, wind gusts of 17-20 m/s are expected on August 18 and 20.

The air temperature will gradually rise by 4-6 degrees on August 19. In Yerevan, no precipitation is forecasted from August 19-23. In the evenings of August 18 and 20, wind gusts of 16-20 m/s are also anticipated.

During the daytime on August 19, the temperature in the capital is expected to reach 33-35 degrees, while in the evening it will range between 26-28 degrees.
