Fatal Traffic Accident: Car Hits Motorcycle

On August 18, a tragic incident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. At approximately 21:10, 24-year-old Alik E., a resident of Gegharkunik, struck 26-year-old Arthur G., a motorcyclist, with his "Mercedes" vehicle near 47 Myasnikyan Street in Martuni.

According to reports from shamshyan.am, the injured motorcyclist lost consciousness and died while being transported in an ambulance. The driver did not flee the scene and was taken by patrol officers and police to the Martuni police station.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Martuni investigative department regarding the incident. Following the investigator's instructions, the car and motorcycle have been moved to a secure area of the Martuni police department.
