Boeing 777 Flight from Tokyo to Zurich Makes Emergency Landing in Kazakhstan
A Boeing 777 aircraft operated by Swiss International Air Lines made an emergency landing in Kazakhstan on Saturday, due to a medical incident on board. Following the touchdown, additional issues arose.
According to the airline's statement, one of the aircraft's wheels got stuck in the grass and had to be towed onto the runway. The aircraft will undergo an inspection to determine the extent of the damage and will become the subject of an investigation.
According to Reuters, the airline confirmed that none of the 319 passengers on board were injured as a result of the incident.
