Body of Levon Gevorgyan, Commander of the 'National Legion' Volunteer Unit, Found in Car
The Gegharkunik regional investigative department of the Investigation Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal proceeding under the classification of 'murder' (sudden death).

Yesterday, on August 18, around 08:30 AM, the medical center in 'Jambarak' received a call from the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reporting that the emergency medical team had been dispatched to the 'Zhayrik' resort area in the village of Draxhtik, where they discovered a male body in a vehicle.
Police and investigators discovered the body of 63-year-old Levon Gevorgyan, a resident of Ararat province, in a 'Suzuki' vehicle. According to the preliminary conclusion from the forensic expert, no signs of trauma were found on the body during the external examination. Initial information suggests that L. Gevorgyan died suddenly. A forensic medical examination has been ordered by the investigator.
According to sources, the deceased was a combat commander of the 'National Legion' patriotic public organization and actively participated in all wars, earning respect not only from relatives and friends but also from those who knew him.
