Armenian Armed Forces Did Not Open Fire Towards Azerbaijani Positions: Armenian Defense Ministry

The statement from the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry claiming that Armenian Armed Forces units opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the border on August 18 at 23:50 is not true. This was reported by the Armenian Defense Ministry.

It is reminded that the Armenian government proposed to establish a joint mechanism to investigate incidents of ceasefire violations and/or information related to them between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
