Traffic Accident on Charents Street: One Injured

On August 18 at 10:38 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident near 9 Charents Street in Yerevan, indicating a gas leak and the need for rescue services.

A firefighting and rescue crew from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that vehicles involved in the accident included an "Opel" (driver A. K., born 1959), a "Mercedes-Benz" (driver N. O., born 1980), a "Mazda" (driver D. K., born 1991), and a "Toyota" (driver K. S., born 1980), with one person reported injured.

Before rescuers arrived, K. S. was hospitalized at a medical center. Rescuers disconnected the power supply to the vehicles and closed the gas tank valves of the "Mazda" and "Mercedes-Benz" vehicles.
