Teenagers' Dispute in Yerevan Ends in Stabbing

Today, on August 18, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 15:30, operational information was received at the Arabkir Division of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs that a stabbing had taken place in the yard of building 70 on Baghramyan Avenue.

According to Shamshyan.com, police officers and patrols discovered traces of blood and playing cards in the conversation area located in the yard of the mentioned building.

The Arabkir Division of the police received a call from Heratsi University Hospital No. 1, reporting that a child had been admitted with stab wounds to the left side of the abdomen and head. An operational group from the Arabkir Division of the police headed to the hospital, where it was determined that the victim was a 17-year-old resident of Yerevan, T. O. After receiving necessary first aid at the specified hospital, he was transferred by ambulance to St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center.

Police and the investigative department know the identity of the suspected perpetrator of the stabbing and are taking necessary operational and investigative measures to locate him and the weapon used in the crime, as well as to clarify the reason for the stabbing.
