Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Statement Does Not Correspond to Reality: Armenian Ministry of Defense

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense statement claiming that on August 18 at around 19:30, Armenian Armed Forces units opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the southwestern section of the border does not correspond to reality. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

It should be noted that the Government of the Republic of Armenia had proposed to establish a joint mechanism for investigating incidents of ceasefire violations and/or information related to them between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
