Visiting Iran with Personal Vehicles for Armenian Citizens Will Be Easier

On August 14, 2024, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Iran Tourism and Automobile Club and the Automobile Federation of Armenia. This was reported by the Iranian embassy in Armenia. The event was also attended by the Iranian ambassador to Armenia.

The agreement was signed by Mohammad Hossein Soufi, the Executive Director of the Iran Tourism and Automobile Club, and Arsen Manukyan, the President of the Automobile Federation of Armenia.

The main objective of this agreement is to facilitate the visit of Armenian citizens to Iran with their personal vehicles and to provide the "Carnet de Passage".

The signing of the agreement is an important step in strengthening tourism and transport relations between the two countries and may contribute to an increase in tourism trips of Armenian citizens, as well as the development of cultural and economic relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia.
