Temperature to Decrease: Weather in Armenia

Short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected today and overnight in certain regions of the Republic of Armenia. This information was provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the report, the wind will be coming from the north at a speed of 3-6 m/s, with wind intensification expected during thunderstorms at speeds of 18-23 m/s. In the evening hours, wind intensification of 17-21 m/s is anticipated in Armavir, and in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.

The air temperature is expected to gradually decrease by 4-7 degrees today and tomorrow. In some parts of Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms might occur after noon today. From August 17 to 20, dry weather is forecasted.

In the capital city, wind intensification of 17-21 m/s is also expected in the evening hours.
