Collision between Ministry of Defense's 'Ural' and 'Volkswagen' in Balagovit: One Injured

A traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk province today. Around 18:10, a 'Volkswagen' and an 'Ural' vehicle collided in the administrative territory of Balagovit village. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, one person was transferred to the Abovyan Medical Center due to the accident.

Officers from the 1st platoon of the 2nd battalion of the Kotayk region police, headed by the responsible duty officer of the day, arrived at the scene. Military police officers from the Kotayk Military Police Division of the Ministry of Defense also arrived at the scene, as the 'Ural' is registered under the Ministry of Defense.

Documents related to the accident are being prepared at the Kotayk police battalion, and it is possible that the case will be transferred to the military investigation division of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia. The police are working to identify the drivers and the injured person.
