Russian folk artist Larisa Dolina has confirmed via her Telegram channel that she has fallen victim to fraud, stating that a criminal case has been opened regarding the incident and that her apartment has been seized.

Dolina's representative, Sergey Pudovkin, told RIA Novosti that he is aware of the fraudulent actions directed at the singer, noting that the situation is under the control of law enforcement agencies. "I became a victim of fraud, complex and premeditated fraud was committed against me," the artist stated.

According to Dolina, investigators have previously determined that the fraudsters are located in Ukrainian territory. She also reported that the scammers accessed her social networks and posted a "monstrous message containing not a single word of truth."

“Due to the interests of the investigation, I cannot provide further comments at this time,” the singer added.

Earlier, media reports indicated that Dolina sold her apartment in the center of Moscow and transferred over 180 million rubles to the scammers. The fraudsters, posing as officers of special services, convinced Dolina to sell her property, claiming that it had attracted the attention of criminals. She hurriedly sold the apartment and, just as quickly, transferred the funds to her "safe account," which actually belonged to the fraudsters.

About five individuals have been arrested near the singer’s home for attempting to intrude into her apartment, claiming to be the new owners. They are currently being questioned. It has been revealed that both the singer and the so-called "new owners" were deceived by the fraudsters.
