Arthur Aleksanyan, the silver medalist of the Paris Olympic Games, and bronze medalist Malkhas Amoyan, alongside Armenia's only representative in athletics at the Games, runner Yervand Mkrtchyan, were hosted in the 'Armenian Olympic House' operating in the French capital during the Games.
They answered questions from Armenian fans and signed autographs.
Arthur Aleksanyan, a member of the Armenian wrestling team and a gold, silver, and bronze Olympic medalist, as well as a four-time world champion and seven-time European champion, announced that he would file a complaint regarding the referee's decision in the final match. He shared this during a conversation with journalists in Paris.
The athlete mentioned that removing his silver medal immediately after the award ceremony was a sign of protest. More details can be found in the video.
