Vazgen Tevanian Fails to Advance to Semi-Finals

Member of the Armenian Olympic team, wrestler Vazgen Tevanian, lost in the quarter-finals at Paris 2024.

During the competition for 65 kg freestyle wrestlers at the 'Champ-de-Mars Arena' in Paris, Tevanian suffered a defeat in his second match. In the quarter-finals, he faced Mongolian wrestler Tulgat Tumuri and lost with a score of 7:5. The Armenian wrestler will have the opportunity to continue competing if the Mongolian athlete advances to the finals.

It is worth noting that in his opening match, Vazgen Tevanian had a strong performance against Georgian wrestler Goderdzi Dzebiaashvili.
