Russian Troops Approach Key Highway for Ukrainian Armed Forces Supply Hubs

Russian troops have approached a key highway for the supply hubs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This information was reported by TASS, citing sources within the security services.

“We have approached the Donetsk-Krasnoarmeysk highway (known as Pokrovsk in Ukrainian) near Novogradyvka. This is essentially a crucial supply road for Ukrainian forces in this direction,” said a source from the agency.

According to the source, supplies for Ukrainian forces in Ukrainsk, Selydiv, and Novogradovka, as well as in smaller settlements including the village of Karlovka, arrive via this highway. It is also how Ukrainian troops receive supplies in the city of Kurakhovo.

The security services explained, “Kurakhovo is strategically significant in terms of logistics. It has access from several directions. However, in this case, it does not fundamentally change the situation, as the logistics for cities near Krasnoarmeysk are in a very difficult state.”
