The U.S. Will Use It to Start a New World War: Lukashenko

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed concern that the U.S. may use the conflict in the Middle East to incite a new world war, as reported by BELTA. According to Lukashenko, a specific political trend has developed during the tenure of the current U.S. president over the last four years.

"These are friends, these are enemies, this is a son of a dog, but he is ours, while this one is foreign. The power will change, and everything will be as it was in Afghanistan. This is not the first time. In order to change the regime, they must certainly unleash some sort of war. God forbid, they will use the Middle Eastern conflict to start a new world war. They are ready for it," the Belarusian leader asserted.

He also emphasized that he does not advocate hostility against the U.S. or other traditional allies. He stated, "Make friends and build relationships with those who wish to. But do not lose what we have created in terms of reliable cooperation over the past few years. It greatly depends on us—the power holders. That’s what I was thinking as I was going to that meeting."
