Putin Signs Law Limiting Number of SIM Cards per Subscriber

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law that restricts the number of SIM cards (subscriber numbers) one individual can own.

The text of the document is available on the official publication site of Russian legal acts.

According to the new law, Russian citizens will be allowed to purchase no more than 20 SIM cards, while foreigners will be limited to no more than 10.

The provisions will come into effect on April 1, 2025.

Earlier, it was reported that Vladimir Putin signed a law prohibiting the sale of non-alcoholic tonics, including energy drinks, to minors.
