French 33-year-old athlete Alice Finot proposed to her boyfriend after finishing the 3000m steeplechase. This was reported by RMC Sport.

"I don't like to do things like everyone else. He hasn't proposed to me yet, and I thought that maybe this step depended on me. I told myself I would do it if I ran less than nine minutes. This is my lucky number since we have been together for nine years. I handed him a pin that said 'Love is in Paris,'" Alice Finot told the media.

The athlete finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase.
