French Pole Vaulter Receives Job Offer from Adult Website After Olympic Performance
French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati, who inadvertently struck the pole with his genitalia during the pole vault event at the 2024 Olympic Games, has received a job offer from an adult website, according to TMZ Sports. The source claims that the vice president of the adult website, Darrin Parker, offered the athlete $250,000 to "showcase his pole skills in front of the camera." This amount is three times more than what France would pay for winning a gold medal at the Olympics.
To recall, on August 3, Ammirati failed to clear a height of 5.70 meters. The pole fell when the Frenchman made contact with it during his jump with his genitalia.
The Paris Olympics has already been marred by a number of scandals and incidents. Athletes reportedly vomited live on air after swimming in the Seine, and Belgian triathlete Claire Michel was hospitalized due to intestinal issues. Boxer Angela Karini refused to continue her match against transgender fighter Iman Khallifi, while Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikeck competed without a uniform.
