The champion of the Paris Olympic Games, Iranian wrestler Mohammadhadi Saravi, spoke about his competitor, Arthur Aleksanyan, a member of the Armenian Olympic team, after their final match.

"This victory is so sweet for me. I finally managed to beat him after three losses. I have great respect for Arthur Aleksanyan; he is a true professional," Saravi said during a press conference, as reported by Armenpress.

It is noted that following the final match in the 97 kg category of the Olympic Games, Arthur Aleksanyan did not attend the press conference.

Recall that in the Greco-Roman wrestling final held at the Champ-de-Mars Arena in Paris, Aleksanyan faced Mohammadhadi Saravi from Iran. The legendary Armenian wrestler lost the final with a score of 4:1.
