A Senior Hamas Representative Neutralized in Gaza: IDF

The Israeli military reports that a member of the Palestinian Hamas movement was coordinating the supply of weapons. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced the elimination of one of the senior members of the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, in collaboration with Israel's overall security service.

According to the army's Telegram channel, "A strike was carried out in Gaza against the location where senior Hamas terrorist Naim Sahal operated. Intelligence received days after the strike confirmed that he was neutralized... For more than 10 years, Naim was involved in the organization responsible for organizing terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria (the Israeli name for the western bank of the Jordan River)."

The IDF's press service claims that Sahal was engaged in financing "terrorist cells" and supplying them with weapons, thereby contributing to the execution of terror attacks against Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers in the West Bank.

It should be noted that on the morning of October 7, 2023, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented missile attack from the Gaza Strip. The IDF reported that extremists launched over 3,000 rockets. Furthermore, dozens of terrorists infiltrated border areas in southern Israel. The military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement announced that it was conducting an operation against Israel named "Al-Aqsa Flood." The IDF also announced the initiation of Operation "Iron Swords" against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
