Continued Attacks in Kursk, State of Emergency Declared

A state of emergency has been declared in Russia's Kursk region due to attacks by Ukrainian forces, aimed at addressing the consequences of their incursions. This was announced by the acting governor of Kursk, Alexey Smirnov.

He also reported that unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles have been intercepted in the region's airspace. “Last night and this morning, air defense forces in the Kursk region shot down six Ukrainian drone-type aircraft and five additional missiles,” Smirnov wrote on his Telegram channel.
