American Troop Convoys Observed Crossing Iraq and Saudi Arabia Border, Al Mayadeen

Movements of American military equipment convoys have been recorded at the border between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. This was reported by the Lebanese publication Al Mayadeen.

It is noted that several American military convoys have been observed at the 'Arar' border checkpoint, which connects Iraq and Saudi Arabia. The troop movements may be related to the Iranian threat of retaliation against Israel.

The situation in the Middle East has sharply escalated following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Palestinian Hamas movement’s political bureau, in Tehran on July 31. This incident was preceded by the killing of a senior commander of the Hezbollah movement, Fuad Shoukri, in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut.
