Shots Fired Near Khor Virap, Injured Reported

Shots were fired in the vicinity of Khor Virap on the evening of August 4. According to information received by ArmLur.am, a 33-year-old individual, identified as V.B., sustained a gunshot wound to the right side of the chest, along with lung damage and a diagnosis of right-sided hemopneumothorax, and was transported to the hospital.

Law enforcement rushed to the scene and determined that on August 4, at a bar located at M. Hovhannisyan street in the village of Pkok Vedi, a birthday celebration was taking place. During the gathering, a group of young men got into a dispute, during which A.K. fired a pneumatic pistol at V.B.'s chest. As a result, V.B. was diagnosed with a “gunshot wound to the right side of the chest, lung damage, and right-sided hemopneumothorax” and was taken to the “Erebuni” hospital. Authorities are currently searching for the shooter.
