Low-Pressure Gas Pipeline Damaged by Vehicle Collision Causes Supply Interruptions in Armenia

A vehicle collision has damaged a low-pressure gas pipeline, leading to the suspension of gas supply to consumers in the Central district of Sisian City, Syunik Province, starting from August 5 at 00:10. This was reported by Gazprom Armenia LLC.

Additionally, it is important to note that gas supply will be interrupted from 09:00 on August 6 until 21:00 on August 7 for consumers in the internal Charchakh area of Yerevan’s Shengavit administrative district, as well as for households in Geghanist village of Ararat Province on streets 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30, and part of the public organizations in the nearby areas, including gas stations of Gold Gas and Vesp Gas LLC, while work to connect the newly constructed pipeline to existing gas lines is being carried out.

Scheduled maintenance will also cause gas supply interruptions from 09:30 on August 6 until 19:00 on August 7 for consumers in the 10th street of Zolakar village in Gegharkunik Province and surrounding neighborhoods.

Furthermore, gas supply for consumers on Sovkhozain, Tumanyan, Cheese Producers, K.Khorkoryan, and Sayat-Nova streets in Spitak City, Lori Province will be suspended from 10:00 until 18:00 on August 6 as part of planned works.

Lastly, scheduled work will result in gas supply interruptions from 10:00 until 18:00 on August 6 for part of the gas consumers and various public organizations in the city of Artashat in Ararat Province.
