Body of One Brother Discovered in Aghstev, Search for the Other Underway: Details

A body of two citizens has been found in the Aghstev River. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred near the village of Azatamut in the Tavush region. This has been reported by Tavush TV.

Later, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, informed Auroranew that at 15:15 on August 5, a report was received indicating that two brothers were drowning in the Azatamut River in Tavush.

“Employees of the Ministry's Rescue Service and the police were dispatched to the scene. A total of 31 rescuers, 5 divers, and local villagers are participating in the search and rescue operations,” the spokesperson elaborated.

At 17:33, the divers retrieved a man's body from the water. The search and rescue operations are ongoing.
