New MP for the Civil Contract Party: Who Will Replace Gurgen Arsenyan?

According to the 'Zhoghovurd' daily, on May 31, it was announced that Gurgen Arsenyan, an MP from the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia representing the 'Civil Contract' faction, will transition to diplomatic work this autumn. In September, he is set to be appointed as the Ambassador of Armenia to Russia.

As required by law, he will end his affiliation with the political party he founded, the 'United Labor Party,' and also resign his parliamentary mandate. This means that the Civil Contract faction will have a new MP for the autumn session.

'Zhoghovurd' has learned that the next candidate from the Civil Contract Party is Armenuhyi Ghazaryan. Her Facebook page reveals that she currently holds the position of head of the Koryun Nikoghosyan Children's Art Center, a non-commercial community organization.

We have been trying for some time to personally confirm with her whether she will accept the mandate, but she has left our messages unanswered. Vahegn Aleksanyan, the vice president of the Civil Contract Party, also mentioned that they have not yet discussed within the party who will receive Arsenyan's mandate.
