It is noted that the Basmanny Court of Moscow has arrested Dmitry Saveliev, a senator from the Tula region, who is accused by Russian law enforcement of organizing a murder.
The court's press release states that the measure has been chosen under the article of the criminal code that prescribes penalties for 'preparing a murder for a fee.'
Saveliev has been detained for two months until October 2.
