Four Countries Prepare Retaliatory Strike Against Israel
In the upcoming 72 hours, several countries will launch a coordinated large-scale strike against Israel. This was reported by CNN, citing the Pentagon.
The operation, which will be a response to the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, will involve Iran, Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria.
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian vowed to punish all those involved in Haniyeh's death. “The Islamic Republic of Iran will make the occupying terrorists regret their cowardly actions,” the politician stated.
At the same time, senior EU and US diplomats have begun urgent negotiations in the Middle East to avoid a large-scale war in the region.
Haniyeh was killed during an airstrike on the night of July 31. Iran believes that the American intelligence was involved in his death.
