«No Good Will Come Of This»: Russia Responds to Koloyan’s Appointment as Head of Public Radio

The increase in Western influence on media resources in Armenia, as in any other country, is unlikely to lead to anything good. The US and EU aim to manipulate public opinion against Russia everywhere.

This was stated by Andrey Nastasin, Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing regarding the election of Armen Koloyan as the director of the Public Radio of Armenia.

“The Americans and the EU are acting with a tactical logic, seeking to shape public opinion against Russia everywhere. They also want to undermine the centuries-old friendship between Russia and Armenia and the importance of the assistance that Moscow has provided and continues to provide to fraternal Armenia in various fields,” he said.
