Major Car Accident: Chevrolet Crashes into Iron Barriers in Chayni Canyon, Leaving 5 Injured

Today, July 31, a major car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 5:00 PM, a Chevrolet vehicle, while traveling towards Yerevan on the Yerevan-Sevan highway at the beginning of the Chayni canyon, veered off the road for unknown reasons, crashed into iron barriers, broke them, and flipped over onto the roadway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, five individuals were taken to various hospitals in Abovyan and Yerevan as a result of the accident. The first responders were citizens and groups of emergency medical doctors from the Abovyan Medical Center who arrived at the scene promptly. The doctors administered first aid to the injured before transferring them to the hospitals.
