It Could Escalate into a Widespread Conflict: Pentagon Chief

Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin has promised that the United States will help defend Israel in the event of an attack. This was reported by The Times of Israel.

Austin added that the U.S. is working to reduce tensions following the death of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. “We remain concerned that this could escalate into a widespread conflict. And I don’t believe that conflict is inevitable,” he stated.
