This is reported by CNN, noting that the wildfires, which began on July 24 near the city of Chico in Northern California, are ongoing. According to the source, this is considered the sixth-largest wildfire in California's history.

According to local media, the states of Oregon and Washington are also affected by the fires. Various estimates indicate that up to 1.3 million acres are burning. Approximately 12,300 people are fighting the blaze.

Warnings about the fires have already been issued for parts of Southern Idaho, Northern Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and some areas of California.
