Third Girl Dies After One of the Most Horrific Attacks in England in Recent Decades

In Southport, England, a third girl, aged nine, has died in the hospital following a mass knife attack that occurred on July 29. The other two girls, aged six and seven, died on the same day. According to Armenpress, BBC reports that five children and two adults remain in critical condition.

The attack took place during a summer holiday event themed around singer Taylor Swift, attended by children aged 6 to 11. A 17-year-old male suspect stabbed the children as well as two adults who intervened. The suspect has been arrested and was born in Cardiff to Rwandan parents.

Taylor Swift expressed that she is "completely shocked" by the incident on her Instagram page. According to Reuters, her fans have raised over $64,000 to support the families of the victims and the injured. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the attack as horrific, while King Charles and his family stated they are shocked by the incident.
